In Anchored, a different speaker each week shares a passage of Scripture that has become a personal anchor—a truth they’ve returned to again and again throughout their lives. In Part 2, Jean Sohn shares why Romans 12:2 has been that passage for her. After years of centering her identity on achievement and positive thinking, Jean discovered that while those things could encourage her, they couldn't heal the deeper wounds that surfaced when life became too heavy for her to carry alone. Through her story, we’re reminded that renewing our minds isn’t about trying harder to believe something good about ourselves. It’s about choosing, again and again, to anchor ourselves in what God says is true about us, even when our circumstances say otherwise.
