Week Three, Day Five

Read

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

(Hebrews 10:24-25)

Pray

Our Father, I praise you for the people you’ve brought into my life. Thank you for the joy of knowing and being known by others. In relationships that challenge or concern me, remind me of their purpose. I trust that you have placed me where I am, among the people I will encounter today, for a reason. Thank you for loving others through me. You have created us to live in community, experiencing you as we lean on each other. Ease the defenses that rise up in me, and remind me that only you can provide all that I need.
