The Stories Leaders Tell: How to tell Stories that Inform, Influence, and Inspire
Every leader has a story they are asking people to understand. A strategy, a change, a vision, a decision, or simply why something matters. But having the right information doesn’t guarantee that people will understand it, remember it, or act on it.
Author and TED Speaker Karen Eber explores why stories are such a powerful leadership tool and what happens in the brain when people encounter one. Drawing on neuroscience, leadership experience, and her work helping organizations shape culture and navigate change, Karen will show you how to find the stories within your own experiences and ideas, then tailor them to the people and situation in front of you.
Whether you are leading a team, selling a product or idea, making a case for change, or inspiring people around a vision, you’ll leave with practical ways to find stories worth telling and shape them so your message is memorable, meaningful, and actionable.
Note: Each attendee will receive a copy of Karen’s award-winning book, The Perfect Story: How to Tell Stories That Inform, Influence, and Inspire.
