Your student will have the opportunity to test drive our middle school environment, Transit, before officially joining us in June as a 6th grader!
On May 19, drop off your child in UpStreet as usual, and then 5th graders will be surprised with a "field trip" to experience a fun, energetic Sunday in Transit. We hope this will help get them excited to move up to Transit and ease their transition from UpStreet.
You will also be able to test drive Transit! After dropping off your child in UpStreet, come straight to the Student Building to experience the Transit service and hear from our director, Jean Sohn. You’ll be able to ask all your Transit-related questions! Save the date… and keep it a secret from your 5th grader.
