Intersect makes serving in the community simple for attendees of Gwinnett Church. We aim to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through serving others. To serve, we move beyond our building into the community to care for our neighbors in need. Through our church’s ministry areas and strategic events and campaigns, we mobilize our attendees to serve with great nonprofit partners.
Anyone! We’d love to help you take a first step toward serving, whether you’re serving with your small group, your family, or individually.
To connect people to service opportunities, Gwinnett Church has formed ongoing relationships with nonprofits around our community. Let us introduce you to them:
One of Georgia’s largest non-profit residential children’s programs, Eagle Ranch is designed to help make life better for children and families going through a crisis. The integrated program is built on Christian principles, modeling homelife, emphasizing education, promoting spiritual growth and incorporating multi-faceted counseling. Boys and girls live at Eagle Ranch in Flowery Branch, Georgia, while their families stay actively involved, working toward the child’s return home. The aim is for renewal: of the child’s purpose and identity; of positive family relationships; and of hope for a more promising future.
Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett is committed to caring for the uninsured or underinsured working poor in the Gwinnett County community. They demonstrate the love of Christ in word and deed to those in need by providing affordable, quality healthcare services. Their goal is to not only meet physical needs, but also to address the spiritual needs of patients through prayer and biblical counseling.
The mission of North Gwinnett Co-Operative Ministries is to extend a hand to in-need residents of Buford, Suwanee, and Sugar Hill. They provide food, clothing, financial assistance, and spiritual support and collaborate with other organizations within the community to identify and assist in meeting needs.
Wellspring Living is a nonprofit organization that exists to help survivors of childhood sexual abuse overcome their broken pasts and move toward hopeful futures. Their mission is to confront the issue of childhood sexual abuse and exploitation through advocacy, education, and treatment programs for girls and women.
