On Sunday, we announced some important and exciting news about Gwinnett Church and 2012.

In case you haven’t heard, here are the details….

Christmas Eve at Gwinnett

Posted by: / Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 / No Comments »

This Sunday and next Saturday we’re going to celebrate our very first Christmas season together.

This coming Sunday night, our Senior Pastor Andy Stanley will be with us for his message, “A Random Christmas.” We’ll see you at our regular service time of 6 pm. Waumba Land, UpStreet and Transit will be open as well.

Then, on Saturday, December 24, we will have our first Christmas Eve service at 4 pm. Waumba and UpStreet will be open but there will be no Transit that afternoon.

Also, as a reminder, we will have no services on Sunday, December 25 or Sunday, January 1. Our first service of 2012 will be on Sunday, January 8.
Please stay tuned for more information on that Sunday.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday and for our Christmas Eve service the following Saturday.

Merry Christmas.

Jeff

An Early Jump on New Year’s Resolutions

Posted by: / Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 / 2 Comments »

This past Sunday, Andy gave an incredible talk on giving.  It was hands-down the best talk I’ve ever heard on the subject.

If you weren’t with us, the message is available here: http://www.northpointministries.org/gwinnett/messages/an-ounce-of-prevention

In the talk, Andy presented an idea we’re calling the 2012 Tithe Challenge.  He challenged everyone to give 10% of their income to the church, in this case Gwinnett Church. He also mentioned that if you hit a financial bump next year, we’ll actually give you your money back. In other words, you get to invest in God’s Kingdom with a money back guarantee. This might be the best deal you’ve ever been offered.

So, how about it?  You can go ahead and sign up here:  http://www.npmgive.org/

Not only that, you can tell others you’ve already made a New Year’s Resolution!
